Andrew Bonnycastle's painting of people looking at a gallery wall of paintings by Arthur Dove and Georgia O'keeffe at the Mystical Landscapes exhibition at the Art Gallery of Ontario.

"Three's a Crowd"

A crowd of gallery visitors admire three paintings in the Mystical Landscapes exhibition at the Art Gallery of Ontario.  On the left is Arthur Dove's Sunrise.  In the center is Georgia O'keeffe's Red Hills, Lake George.  On the right is another O'keeffe painting, Series I - From The Plains.  Dove, known as America's first abstract painter, is credited with influencing O'keeffe in her early years as an artist.  He inspired her to experiment with abstraction and paint from her emotional response to nature.
