A gentleman admires the Lawren Harris painting Baffin Island Mountains at the Art Gallery of Ontario.  Harris painted the sketch for this larger painting during a two-month voyage along the eastern coasts of Baffin and Ellesmere Islands in 1930.

Baffin Island Mountains was among the paintings Harris included in the final exhibition of the Group of Seven in December 1931.
