Georgia on my Mind
A woman admiring Georgia O'Keeffe's Jimson Weed/White Flower No. 1 at the Art Gallery of Ontario on loan from the Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art for the 2017 Georgia O'Keeffe exhibition.

O'Keeffe painted this small toxic flower with the desire to depict it as sublime and to force an ever busying public to stop and notice the beauty found in these small forms. Jimson Weed was a favored plant and something she would paint many times in her earlier years.
