I have always been intrigued by the atmosphere of the environment following a powerful storm. There always seems to be a remaining energy after a storm that heightens our senses and causes us to pause and survey the condition of our surroundings. "Breaking Storm over Frenchman's Bay" is meant to imbody that energy. 

 

Frenchman's Bay in Pickering Ontario is a favorite painting spot of mine and has inspired me to create a number of works.
