Andrew Bonnycastle is a Toronto based national award-winning artist working in oil and watercolour.  Numerous aspects of urban and rural life are explored in Andrew's works.  All explorations are linked by a common preoccupation with portraying beauty amidst disorder and life that defies adversity and isolation.  His paintings are allegories, often representing different aspects of the human condition.

The McMichael Volunteer Committees' Online Autumn Artisan Market.

October 15th to 31st, 2021.

Andrew is excited to be participating in the Online Autumn Artisan Market with an initial six works.  The Autumn Artisan Market is an online art exhibition and fundraiser hosted by the McMichael Volunteer Committee.  The online exhibition features Canadian fine art, sculpture, and fine art photography by 100 selected artists.  The inception of this online fundraiser came about from COVID restrictions on large social events preventing the annual Autumn Art Sale in the McMichael’s Gallery’s Grand Hall in the traditional way.

The Autumn Artisan Market will take place from October 15th to October 31st, 2021.  The exhibition is a fundraiser that helps us support the McMichael Canadian Art Gallery’s exhibitions and children’s programs, as well as participating Artists.  Each time a piece is sold in the exhibition it will be replaced by another work by that artist, so be sure to check in regularly over the 16 days of the exhibition to see the everchanging display of works.

NOTE: Due the global pandemic, all in-person exhibitions have been postponed or canceled.  Paintings continue to be available for purchase directly through the artist.  For any inquiries, please use the contact form found here>>
